In a word: vacation. Yes, we spent about 48 hours in Michigan and Erika and the girls headed to Pentwater to spend some time with friends. Yes, Monday morning I was at work in the new job. Not as exciting as the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan, but I really do like my new job. Just not as much as vacation with the girls.

I suppose we were just in temporary housing anyway and we did find a new place to move into at the end of the month before they left. So, most of our initial jobs were done. But it was weird moving, starting a new job and having the girls go on vacation all in the same week.

I am told that Luna and Marley had a wonderful time on this park bench laughing and soaking in the sun.

You’d like to think that Luna isn’t the most photogenic baby. However, I beg to differ.

Yes, if little Marley was there, then so was her big brother Drake. Which means Mira’s buddy was there and it was on. You’ve gotta love the floaties, you can never be too careful!

Yes there was a baby Darcy sighting, only she isn’t the baby anymore. Now baby Darcy takes care of baby Luna. We are now getting stories of kids back in Cleveland talking about Baby Luna. Too all the little ones in Luna’s old daycare, she’ll always be a baby…

Our good friend Brenda likes to get kisses from Mira. Only Mira doesn’t normally give kisses. Good thing Brenda is familiar with the superman ice cream rule. Which basically states that anyone who is willing to give Mira superman ice cream gets a kiss.

You’d think that this was about sharing. I have a feeling that Mira was getting full and decided to try and pawn some off on her cousin.

And of course Erika’s friends were there. You’ll notice that Keeley, in the middle, is only about 9 months pregnant. Yes, that’s the same Keeley that lives in Arizona and got on a plane 9 months pregnant. And yes, that’s also the same Keeley that had an unexpected baby about 72 hours after this picture was taken. And yes, that is about 2000 miles from where her and her husband live.
