Yes, it’s true. There are rumors that we are moving to Michigan in the near future. As I’m a few weeks behind with our updates, we are actually in Michigan. Don’t worry I’ll get there. In the meantime, it’s important to cover our last few weeks in Cleveland (though much of that was out of state).
After our long vacation on the west side of Michigan, we were back in Cleveland. Yes, we finally were able to do my favorite activity, blueberry picking. Seriously, I’m like a blueberry junky. Can’t get enough of those yummy berries. Luna had a wonderful time walking along in the baby bjorn with Erika. Not quite sure what’s going on, but the berries were plentiful and delicious!
Mira finds blueberry picking to be more an adventure in walking around and eating berries, much more than actually putting said berries into the bucket. Actually, at first we weren’t allowed to eat the berries. But as soon as she figured out she could, in fact, eat the berries. Well, then very few berries found their way to the bucket.
The MSU alumni group was having a picnic at the Zoo and we figured that this would be a good opportunity for us to have our last visit to the wonderful Cleveland Zoo. I’ve gotta tell you, Luna had a great time!
And wouldn’t luck have it, the Fairview Park Summerfest was happening the same weekend as well. Mira was super stoked. Probably for two reasons: 1. Carnie food and 2. Rides and rides!
Mira spent very little time getting comfortable on the rides. Sunglasses and Spartan gear on, she was ready to roll!
While waiting for the fireworks that would eventually be cancelled, Mira’s teacher from school stopped by. Yes, these two have a soft spot for each other. And I’ve a sneaky suspicion they spend a lot of time at school cuddling. And yes, Sam brought Mira the giant pile of sugar (cotton candy). It summer, no rule right?!?
Back home, the girls decided to pose in the playroom together. This is a lovely pick of the three of them:
The cool thing about this day was the little pony Luna’s daycare was able to put in her hair. Yes, Lindsay Kitko found enough of Luna’s hair to get this neat little pony in. Snif, our little baby is growing up. She’s eating baby food and soon she’ll be crawling! Here’s our perfect little baby!
Up next, a wedding in Kalamazoo, Michigan and then a trip to Seattle for Uncle Jeremy’s wedding. And yes, soon after that I promise we’ll move to Michigan!
