Brenda and the girls visit (part 2)

Yes, we do live in Cleveland. And if you live in Cleveland, you should know that LeBron James owns this town. There is a huge poster about 12 stories high on the side of a building downtown. As Brenda and the girls are bball fans, we decided to take them downtown and get a picture of them in front of the poster.

We are all witnesses!

Yeah, it’s huge. Unfortunately, it was really foggy this particular day. So they couldn’t see the sky-line. But we did stop by the house that they filmed Christmas Story in. Yes, the leg lampshade is in the window just like you would expect. It’s a pretty neat place to see. BTW Erika has vowed that we will also have to go and get the official “Witness” family pic sometime soon.

In preparation of our visitors, we decided to set up a craft night. I found pics of each person that I had and put together impromptu valentines mailboxes for everyone.

Insert Valentines here

Then Erika got out a ton of craft stuff and we all started putting together valentines for each other. Yeah, we’re about a month early. But it was fun and a great way to spend time catching up.

At work!

You should know that when you are in a house with 6 females, you pretty much do whatever you are told. So when in Rome, you check your man-card at the door and start making valentines.

Check your man-card at the door.

We spent a few hours putting these together Sunday night knowing that we had a few hours in the morning before the girls flew out.

Open your cards the next day!

Yes, everyone opened their cards in the morning. Brenda and the girls got to take theirs with them. Then it was time for them to start fighting over who got to hold Luna. She is really such a sweet and quiet baby. Sydney got to hold her for most of the morning, but Brenda took over once we were done with the valentines.

Such a sweet baby!

After that they were off to the airport for a quick jog back to Chicago. It was the last of our out of town visitors that we’ll have for a while. Mira turns 4 in almost one month exactly. Erika is already beginning the preparations.

I can’t wait!
