Yes, we have been in a college basketball frenzy lately. As MSU made a deep run into the tournament, we had lots of quality time to spend together at the local bars. Some of my favorite pictures from this years tournament run…

It was a good year for Spartan fans and I think Mira was just happy to be able to high five a room full of complete strangers and say, “Yeah baby!”
Yes, it’s true that I used to run. I still do run, just not like I used to. The days of 10+ miles a day are a few years behind me. Erika busts my chops because I don’t race anymore. Not sure why I don’t, probably mostly because I’m such a slug compared to just 5 years ago.
But Mira has discovered that racing anyone anywhere at anytime allows her the opportunity to be the “winner” And so we have been racing and she has been winning. The other day she decided that she needed a medal and she said, “Daddy, where is my medal.” I thought to myself, “I’ve got a few medals upstairs.”
So we snuck up to my office to find some medals. Wow, I think I used to race more than I remember. Here’s a pic of Mira wearing all the medals I had stashed in old race mugs and small boxes.
Yes, Mira has enough medals for everyone now. And everytime Erika or I return from a run… Yes, we get a medal. Normally I get the same yellow medal. I think it’s my Boston Marathon medal, so I don’t mind wearing it more than once!
Coming up next is our two Easter egg hunts. And a magical trip to Muskegon for one of the egg hunts. I don’t want to spoil all the stories. But here is how we pass the 6 hours in the car ride between Cleveland and Muskegon once a month:

And while I’m adding random pictures that don’t always have a nice story to them. Erika wanted me to add this shot we snagged of Mira at the grocery store the other day. She picked out the clothes and insisted that she wear the glasses and take the kids cart. Erika says this is the next generation unibomber.
Until next update!
