You should know that we have piles upon piles of baby girl clothes. Which is probably one of the main reasons why I was rooting for a girl. Less trips to the store. However, I am told that less trips now will only mean more trips once the girls hit their teen years.
We are amazed that Luna actually fits in all of Mira’s old preemie clothing. It’s weird seeing Luna in Mira’s old clothes. We used to think that they looked very different. But now that Luna is in the same clothes, I’m not sure they are that different.
Here is Luna in our favorite preemie outfit. This was a gift from Erika’s cousin, Ashleigh:
Here is Mira holding Luna in that outfit:
Here’s another pic of the two of them with soothies as babies:
Well? Do they look alike? Can’t tell with all the stuff in the way? Here’s another one:
Same nose… Same beady eyes… Eh?
Yes, I can do this all day. And will probably bore you to tears with more pics comparing the two in the coming months.
We did have a milestone a few days ago. We figured it would be good for Mira to take the bus to school as Erika will have her hands full after the first of the year when I am back to work. So, we made arrangements for Mira to ride the bus once before Christmas break on the last day of school. As Mira is only 3, it really isn’t the bus. It’s a kiddie mobile. But close enough. We talked it up as much as we could and Mira was very excited to ride to school.
Here’s a great shot of her taking a look inside. Curious, but excited!
Once she was strapped into her seat and ready to go. I tried to take a pic of her looking out at me, but the reflection in glass was obstructing the view of her. I held my arm up in the hope that I might remove a bit of the light to get a clear pic of her looking out at me. This is a great pic:
Such a sweet little girl. Sniff, she’s getting so big!
Up next is a visit from the Mitchell family and rough housing with uncle Nathan!
