Word on the street is that Erika is heading home tonight!

I stopped by to see her before I picked Mira up from daycare tonight and she’s coming home. She has to wait 24 hours between steroid shots, but she is due for her second shot around 8:15PM tonight. After that, Dr. Stark has cleared her to come home. Erika has another appointment on Monday and then again on Wednesday. So, we are cautiously optimistic that we will be able to just keep the status quo for a few more weeks.

Our speculation (and other people we know) is that the 6+ hour trip in the car to Muskegon and back last weekend coupled with the Tuesday night Cavs game put her over the edge. She had fun at the game I swear. See here:

It is not 9PM and Erika is officially home. We’ve got a few pics of the baby from today’s ultrasound. They are in 3D and if you haven’t ever seen 3D ultrasound pics, these are pretty awesome.

So the real question is: “Is that a girl or a boy?” One of us thinks its a girl, the other thinks its a boy. We will know soon (hopefully not too soon). So exciting!

I stopped by the hospital and took a quick pic of Erika before she left today. Here’s my beautiful wife after our hospital stay for this one:
