Yes, we had two weddings to attend in July. Both out of state. Cousin Ashleigh was getting married in Kalamazoo, Michigan. And Uncle Jeremy was getting married in Seattle, Washington.

Ashleigh’s wedding was a bit more low key than the Seattle trip was. But it was still very, very fun. They had an amazing candy stand at the reception and Mira was in sugar heaven. Here she’s got a sucker the size of her head. Good stuff!

The following weekend, the last weekend of July, we were off to Seattle for uncle Jeremy’s wedding. It was the first plane flight Mira will probably remember and it was Luna’s first plane flight. Mira got ahold of some of Erika’s sunglasses and wouldn’t take them off. Gotta love this look!

Once in Seattle, we were staying in a lovely Holiday Inn just south of town. What do you do in a hotel with kids? That’s pretty easy really, just give the baby some toys and leave her on the bed in diapers. No, she’s not crawling yet. It’s great, you put her in a spot and when you get back, she’s still there. And with Luna, she’s still happy too!

We snuck over to the wedding location after we arrived for the rehearsal. Mira, of course, had to show a lovely smile with the flowers.

Back in town, we hit Pikes Place Market and wandered around town with Grandma and Grandpa. It was a wonderful day and Mira only made me carry her for about half the day.

Onto the wedding and wouldn’t you know it, Mira was the flower girl. We took this pic a few minutes before the wedding started.

Yes I did get the family together for a photo. Amazing how you can take like 30 pictures with the same 4 people and have them all turn out just a little off. Maybe I’m getting a bit too picky in my old age. Anyway, this was the keeper. And I must say that the girls are just beautiful. All three of them!
