I grabbed the camera quickly and recorded her singing.<\/p>\n<p>Consider this our family&#8217;s focus for 2010:<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class='youtube-player' type='text\/html' width='584' height='329' src='https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/nVtbZFlPBtk?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;autohide=2&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;wmode=transparent' allowfullscreen='true' style='border:0;'><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Mira is officially back in school tomorrow and is already talking about taking the bus to in the morning. It will be nice to get her back into a routine again.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s funny, but before Luna got here, Mira called herself Buttercup. That was her nickname and she&#8217;d always refer to herself as Buttercup. Since Luna has arrived, she&#8217;s now &#8220;Baby Kitty.&#8221; Yes, my daughter thinks that she&#8217;s a baby kitty.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes she crawls around the floor meowing and instead of wanting fruit snacks, they are now kitty treats. It&#8217;s important for you to know:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Baby kitty is hungry.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Baby kitty is cold and needs a blanket.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Baby kitty is thirsty.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Baby kitty wants to watch a movie&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It&#8217;s really the biggest challenge she&#8217;s had with Luna since she&#8217;s been here. However, Mira is such a nice sister and is very gentle and supportive of Luna. I think she just needs a bit more attention.<\/p>\n<p>We took Mira to her second movie (the first one was Wall-e) today, The Princess and the frog. Baby kitty wanted popcorn and duba duba (that&#8217;s soda). She made it about an hour into the movie and had had enough. Not quite ready for the big screen yet I think. We&#8217;ll try again in 6 months. Luna was fantastic though, we call her the perfect baby. She eats, sleeps and goes to the bathroom.<\/p>\n<p>There was a possible smile sighting yesterday, but I thought it might just be gas. We couldn&#8217;t get a photographic confirmation, so the search for the first smile continues.<\/p>\n<p>Up for this week: back to school, back to work and then Erika&#8217;s two best friends visit next weekend.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve also taken a few more pictures of the girls that I&#8217;ll post in a day or two!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Years morning Mira and Luna were relaxing watching a bit of TV and one of Mira&#8217;s favorite songs came on.
